Handcrafting Love and Joy
Being a qualified nursery school teacher, involved in children's ministry for many years and blessed with three children and four grandchildren, my life has always embraced children and especially little ones.
Preparing for a planned visit to our (then) 18-month-old grandchild in Tasmania was rudely interrupted by major surgery, leaving me homebound. I had to rely on my own creativity to ensure a gift from "Ouma"! Unknowingly that many were to follow, the first quiet book was born.
A few years later I was forced to rely on my creativity again. Uprooted by a major move from one city to another, I was also confronted by the dreaded 3 C's: Cancer, Chemo and Covid. Home-bound again, I started making quiet books. One by one the joy of creating something meaningful, colourful, and playful left me with a new purpose.
Previously I was able to physically touch the lives of children. Yet in a different manner, I am now able to do so again!
Fulfilling the dream of impacting our future generation will be accelerated by providing you with patterns, DIY kits as well as ready-made books. In the hands of parents, grandparents and other caregivers, this product has the potential of becoming a hand-me-down family treasure.

Surfing the internet can lead one to many DIY quiet book sites. To my surprise, it means that you are only able to buy a pdf pattern, some instructions, and off you go. Have you ever tried buying 6 black pom-poms, or 33 X 30cm of batting, or fabric? What about a tiny bit of sequence or small beads?
This is why Creations4kids comes to your rescue!
No printing of patterns. Our kits are all-inclusive with everything you need to make your own quiet book page. Just click on the activities you like best and be part of spreading love and enjoyment whilst enhancing important developmental skills.
Although the different pages target certain main developmental skills, they are all-encompassing many other areas for example:- language, mathematics, sensory development and spatial orientation, thus skills by playing and having fun.

A child can build skills in their first 5 years of life. Your child's development can actively be enhanced through targeted therapeutic intervention at home. My pages are designed to combine a few of these skills on one page, you can click below to match a page with the various skills.

These nursing pillows are versatile, handy, and a must-have! The soft fabric is used not to irritate the skin of your baby. The cover can be removed and washed. Have your pillow match the theme of your nursery or choose one of our own designs in the colour of your choice.

How to use:
Place the pillow with its legs around your body and either let your baby lay on the pillow while nursing, or hold your baby in your arms and use the pillow as rest for your elbow. Works for breast as well as bottle feeding. After nursing, you can get your baby to lay on his/her tummy across the leg or body of the pillow while rubbing her/his back to get rid of the winds. Use our burping cloths to catch any mishaps!
Your baby can also sit up in the opening between the legs of the pillow from an early age. The tail has a bell (securely sewn in place) and the ears have a crackling sound to keep the little one entertained and gently stimulated.
